Bachelors Essay

The Bachelor's Essay is a 6 credit hour independent research project usually completed in the senior year. All Honors students must complete a Bachelor's Essay to graduate from the Honors Program. Most students (but not all) do their Bachelor's Essay in their major. Most departments have a course numbered 499 (for example, ENGL 499), that you would enroll in and complete over the course of the year, following the requirements for the Bachelor's Essay of that department.
